The Kalas Engineered Cable Products Division (ECPD) is exhibiting at the 2014 ConExpo – Con/ Agg trade show at the Las Vegas Convention Center, March 4 – 8, 2014. With more than 2,400 exhibitors and 175,000 attendees, it is the single largest trade event supporting the construction industry.
The Kalas Engineered Cable Products Division (ECPD) hosted valued partner Caterpillar to receive the Bronze Level Supplier Quality Excellence Process (SQEP) Award. Kalas received this honor due to the high level of quality, service and performance they demonstrated while supporting the Caterpillar business in 2013.
The Kalas Engineered Cable Products Division (ECPD) was honored as a Partner-level Supplier for their 2013 performance at the John Deere Achieving Excellence Program on Tuesday, February 18, 2014. The Partner-level status distinction is the highest supplier rating awarded by John Deere; a world-renowned global brand that honored only 227 of its +2500 suppliers.
Kalas returns to FabTech; North America’s largest metal forming, fabricating, welding and finishing trade event. This year’s show is in both the North and South Halls in Chicago’s McCormick Place; November 18-21, 2013. As a vertically integrated copper fabricator; Kalas will showcase its broad portfolio of wire and cable products, and custom programs & services designed to meet the unique needs of each customer.
Kalas is proud to support Kaeden Rhoads & the Kisses for Kaeden charity at the 2013 Lancaster Heart Walk; benefitting the American Heart Association. Joining more than 1,500 participants in this year’s event were third shift associates from the Kalas Lancaster facility, who were there to support fellow co-worker Carmela Kulish-Rhoads. Carmela’s 10-year old son, Kaeden was born with congenital heart defects. He has had four open heart surgeries; most recently a heart valve transplant on July 18, 2012.
